From hearty sandwiches stacked with generous layers of meats and cheeses to pizzas that boast a crisp, well-baked crust and fresh toppings measured with care, there’s an easy joy in every bite. Specialty items like the Steak Stromboli or open-faced meatball sandwiches carry a sense of home-cooked pride, echoing the long-standing tradition behind the name while catering to locals and travelers alike who crave honest, satisfying meals without fuss.
The space and flavors invite those moments of contentment—the kind found in a casual lunch break or a relaxed dinner shared with loved ones. It’s a spot that reflects the community’s spirit: unpretentious, always welcoming, and quietly confident in its place among Yuma’s dining choices. Is this the same Sam Bernardo who started in that foothills shopping place in the mid '80s? If so, I painted your windows at your 1st restaurant. I was stationed in Yuma and painted windows on the side. Update: I'm currently not in Yuma, but was playing around on Google Maps and seen your new location. Congratulations on all your success. Whenever I do make my way back to Yuma I will definitely stop by for some amazing food& hospitality!

While visiting my daughter in Yuma, Bernardo's came up in my feed. We decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. The staff were friendly. The food was delicious. The portions were large. My daughter said she will definitely be back and was happy to find a new place to eat out.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We stopped here during a long drive and shared this amazing stuffed bread roll (see photo) — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying! For just $25 total for two people, it was plenty of food and absolutely delicious. Perfect place for a quick, high-quality bite on the road. Highly recommend if you’re passing through!

Close to the I-8 on Fortuna Road. Family owned business. Clean restaurant. Indoor and outdoor dining. Order and pay at counter. The staff assisted us with selection as it was our first visit. Our party was very happy with our meal! Menu offers pizza, sandwiches, and Stromboli. We ordered pizza and Stromboli. The pizza toppings were generous. The crust crisp and evenly baked. The flavors delicious! The homemade sauce is delicious! First time trying Stromboli. The Steak Stromboli with a side of peppers and sauce as accoutrements was delicious! The associate informed us they allow patrons to bring their own beer and wine. They do close at 6pm. Evening dining would have to be call in before closing time, pick up (or delivery service) and dine at home with the family. They had a lot of people coming for pick up during our time there. We will return!
